24 July 2009, Kiev, Ukraine An IT Investment Forum took a place in the Boutique Hotel Rivera located in the historical district of Ukrainian Capital. The forum was conducted by the European Union founded project "Support to the development of business capacity of Ukrainian SME's". The main goal of the forum is to facilitate to the development of Ukrainian IT sector and establish business relationships between Ukrainian IT players and investors.
The forum itself as an EU founded project in general provide with the great opportunity to improve competitiveness of Ukrainian IT sector and approximate Ukrainian companies to the European approach of doing business. Expressing great satisfaction of the results of previous project initiative "The Ukrainian IT mission in UK" and emphasizing an increased opportunities to build business relationships with EU partners the project participants (ten enterprenurial Ukrainian IT companies) willingly joined the next initiative of the project and participated in IT Investment Forum in Kiev this week.
The project participants participated in series of meetings with the leading hi-tech entrepreneurs and investors, who successfully launched a number of technology ventures focusing on advanced technologies and works with Fortune 500 companies. The forum attended several prominent Ukrainian entrepreneurs, among them Mr.Yuri Boiko, who has a deep experience and knowledge in hi-tech industry launching several technology ventures and start-ups. Among clients of his ventures there are some of the global leading companies: Logitech, Motorola, Wrigley, DaimlerChrysler, AT&T, Grainger, as well as Silicon Valley start-ups.
